About
About Our Park
Welcome to Henk van Rooyen Holiday Resort, our little piece of heaven on the Crocodile River in Marloth Park. With views stretching into the Kruger National Park, it’s the kind of place where mornings are slow, sunsets are golden, and nature is always close by.
Accommodation Options
We offer a range of stay options to suit couples, families, and travellers looking for an authentic bush break:
- Chalets (Riverfront): Comfortable, air-conditioned chalets for those hot summer nights, with a scenic view over the river.
- Rondawels (Non-riverfront): A traditional circular African-style dwelling with a conical thatched roof, cosy, charming, and ideal for a relaxed stay.
- Caravan Stands (Riverbank): 10 roofed stands, each with a private braai area, as well as a power point and water, all positioned to enjoy the river and surrounding bush.
Our chalets and rondawels are furnished to accommodate 4 to 6 guests, making them a great option for families and small groups.

The resort is designed for easy, enjoyable holidays with everything you need on-site:

- A playground for the little ones

Marloth Park & The Kruger Experience
Situated close to Komatipoort, Marloth Park forms part of the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park. Marloth Park is unique, properties aren’t fenced, which means it’s not unusual to spot antelope and other wildlife moving through the area. Across the river, Kruger’s landscapes stretch out, and you may even catch glimpses of iconic wildlife in the distance.
